GravelRiders update

On September 3, my wife and I left St. Jean Pied de Port, France and walked 600+ miles to Muxia, Spain in 48 days on the Camino de Santiago. This was an unbelievable and fantastic journey in many ways, and we’re still trying to recover and process it all.
It is now Halloween and we have been in Porto, Portugal for a week, and we start heading toward the Algarve region tomorrow.

Check out my Strava feed for the daily postings and check out our new website.
I’m creating our Instagram dealio today, and it’s now time to fire up our Youtube channel. Thanks everybody for all your patience and support.

Major Local Rides

Here are some local-to-Snoqualmie Valley rides presented in Strava’s Fatmap app. I thought it was a cool way to display them, but they are a little slow to load.

SVT – SnoValley Trail

This is a very popular gravel trail that runs about 30 miles from Duvall to North Bend, but has a missing section in Snoqualmie that has to be navigated.

Palouse to Cascades Trail (AKA Iron Horse Trail, John Wayne Trail)

This is another very popular gravel trail that starts at Rattlesnake Lake in North Bend where the SVT ends. This trail runs all the way across Washington, which is pretty awesome.

Vicious Cycle Gran Fondos

Here are the aptly named backcountry gran fondos that are super popular in Washington.

Campbell Global (Snoqualmie) tree farm

This is a very popular and nearly 100,000 acre tree farm chock full of the gravel goods, a true gem in the middle of everything.

This will be a random collection of Campbell Global routes, many of the named ones that people ask about will hopefully be here soon.
